Jonathan Bell studies piano and harpsichord, at the age of 8. After his degree in piano and a baccalaureate in sciences, he studies at the Paris Conservatoire with Emmanuel Nunes, Stefano Gervasoni and Cyril Lehn, where he gets a masters in Composition and Music Theory. His pieces have been performed by the current ensembles : Contrechamps, Court-Circuit, De Caelis, Exaudi and Matheus .
He has been in residence in the following places Takefu (Japan) Royaumont ( France ) , Lourremarin (provence, Fr), Imec (Normandie, Fr), Groupe Ouest (Bretagne, Fr).
He is currently working on a composition doctorate at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama of London.
