1957 Was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

1976-82 Studies in the National Conservatoire of Buenos Aires and musical composition with Manuel Juárez.

1982-84 Musicology’s diploma in the University of Poitiers and he has worked at electronic music at the Group of Bourges's Experimental Music (France).

1986-92 Assistant teacher of composition, at the National University of La Plata, Argentina.

1986-(In process). Professor of harmony and analysis at the Municipal Conservatoire “Manuel de Falla” of Buenos Aires.

1988 Co-founding of "Linea Adicional ", together with Manuel Juárez, Mariano Etkin, Cecilia Villanueva and Eric Oña (group of composers).

1990-92 Visiting Composer at the University of the New York State in Buffalo (USA).

1990 Prize in Bourges International Contest, France.

.1992 Founding of the Center of Studies Advanced in Contemporary Music (CEAMC), Buenos Aires. President of CEAMC Foundation. Artistic director at CEAMC.

1992, Prize of the WDR, Radio of the West of Germany, Cologne " Forum Junger Komponisten ".

1994 First Municipal Prize, Symphonic Music, City of Buenos Aires.

1996 Jury and lecturer in the Forum 96, University of Montreal, " Nouvel Ensemble Moderne ", Canada.

2001 Release of the monographic CD "Luminar" by the label MODE RECORDS, New York, USA. Considered one of the best releases of the year by the specialized magazine " La Folia ", New York.

2004 Second National Prize of Music Argentina.

2006 Publication of the Book " La Musica Utopica " like co-author together with Guillermo Lema. Vian Editions, Buenos Aires, Argentina.

2007-today. Academic Director of “Licenciatura en Musica “, at the National University (UNTREF), Argentina.

2011 Release of the second monographic CD “Es decir callar” by the label UNTREF Sonoro, Buenos Aires, Argentina.


Selected by the jury " World Music Days ", Festivals of Contemporary Music, Hungary (1986), Germany (1987), Sweden (1994), Romania (1999), Croatia and Zagreb Biennial (2005), Hong Kong (2007).

He received commissions and he has been a guest as artist for institutions and performers such as: GMEB (France), Academy of Basel (Switzerland), Gaudeamus International Music Week (Holland), Logos Foundation (Belgium), Mc Gill and Montreal Universities (Canada), North America New Music Festival (USA), Ensemble 2E2M (Paris, France), Ensemble Attacca (Berlin), Leizpig Radio Orchestra (Germany), Malmö Symphony Orchestra (Sweden), Danish Chamber Players (Denmark), Mondrian Ensemble (Switzerland), Repertorium Ensemble and Pro-contemporary Ensemble (Romania), Arditti String Quartet (England), Sortisatio Ensemble (Germany),National Fund of the Arts, Theatre St Martin and Theatre Colon (Argentina).
