Venezuelan composer, writer and teacher. He obtained his Magister in Music Mention Composition from the Universidad Simón Bolívar (2011). He graduated with a Bachelor in Music Mention Composition from IUDEM (2006), now Unearte, and he graduated too in Computing from the University of Carabobo (1999). He studied at the Latin American Chair of Composition under the direction of the Blas Atehortúa 2003-2005 and the Composition Workshop "A Tempo 2002", as well as the composition chairs of Federico Ruiz 2003-2006 and Diana Arismendi 2007-2009. His 42-minute “Concerto for Orchestra” got a meritorious award for the 1st Prize “Antonio Estévez” in the First National Music Composition Competition 2010 by the Venezuelan Symphony Orchestra. His symphonic work “Dialectic of the Uncertain” was awarded with the Municipal Music Prize in 2003. His musical works have been performed by musical groups such as the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra, Lara Symphony Orchestra, Carabobo Symphony Orchestra, Gran Mariscal de Ayacucho, Friedman Quartet, Ensemble Khemia (Michigan, USA), Ensemble Dal Niente (Chicago, USA), 3 (r) by radio (Cincinnati, USA), Duo Novecento (Genoa, Italy), Ensemble Opera Nova (Zurich-Switzerland), Coro Svea (Stockholm , Sweden), among others. He has participated in the Latin American Music Festivals of Caracas, the International Contemporary Music Festival of Chile, the Clarinet Fest ICA 2017 (Orlando, USA), MusicArte Festival (Panama), among others. He publishes his musical works with Cayambis Music Press (Virginia, USA) and Babel Scores (Paris, France). He is currently Professor and Coordinator of the Master of Music at the Universidad Simón Bolivar.
