studied in Zaragoza with Agustín Charles, Jesús Rueda, and José María Sánchez-Verdú, receiving the highest marks in the subject of composition. He also studied contemporary music analysis with Nacho de Paz and computer-assisted composition with Hèctor Parra. His training was complemented by a number of courses taught by Aureliano Cattaneo, Georg Friedrich Haas, José Manuel López López, Tristan Murail, Alberto Posadas, and others. His works have been played in Barcelona (Cathedral of Santa Eulalia), Berlin (festival Klangwerkstatt), Madrid (Circle of the Arts), Paris (Le Centquatre), and Zaragoza (Symphony Hall) by ensembles such Xasax Quartet, Les Cris de Paris (France), Ensemble Recherche, ensemble Mosaik (Germany), Zahir Ensemble and Ensemble Kuraia (Spain). He won the Aragon Orchestral Contest, the CDMC Award (from the spanish Ministry of Culture), a grant from IRCAM-Centre Pompidou and was awarded a scholarship from the Fondation Royaumont for his project on Arabic-Spanish writing and poetry. He has lived and worked in Berlin since 2012.
