PANG Chun-ting is currently studying music composition with Dr. David Felder in the Ph.D. program at the University at Buffalo, State University of New York. Before that, he had studied at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts and New England Conservatory. His past teachers included Prof. Law Wing-fai, Prof. MakWai-chu, Prof. Malcolm Peyton and Dr. John Mallia.
In addition, he has also participated in different music festivals and courses including prestigious RoyaumontVoixNouvelles, June in Buffalo, ISCM World New Music Day, and Composers Conference at Wellesley College. Pang's music has been performed or read by various top ensembles such as Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, JACK Quartet (USA), Arditti Quartet (UK), Linea Ensemble (France), Cikada (Sweden), QuatuorMakrokosmos (Switzerland), EnsembleAscolta (Germany).
