was born in 1987 in Almaty (Kazakhstan). From the age of 16 started to compose under Bakir Bayakhunov at the P:I:Tchaikovsky Almaty music collage. From 2007 till 2012 was studying at Moscow State Conservatory in composition department by Vlaslav Agafonnikov. He also studied there with Dmitri Kourlianski and Yuri Kasparov. From 2013 he is a student of professor Beat Furrer (music composition) at the University of music and performing arts in Graz.

Sehyung has been awarded prizes at international competitions «DuoSolo» (Oklahoma, 2010), «Step to the left» (Saint-Petersburg, 2012), «de la ville de Boulogne-Billancourt» (Paris, 2014). Also he participated at  the 45th and 47th international summer courses in Darmstadt (Germany, 2010 and 2014), the 2nd, 4th and 5th international academy of young composers in Tchaikovsky city (Perm krai, 2012, 2014, 2015, the 2nd Ukarinian Biennale for New Music (Kiev, 2013), etc.

He got a scholarship from the 8th international Enssemble and Composers Academy for Contemporary Music «Impuls» in Graz (Austria, 2013). In 2015 he was awarded the prize «Musikförderungspreis der Stadt Graz».

Among performers are: GAM-Ensemble, Moscow  Contemporary Music Ensemble (MCME), Studio of New Music (Moscow), ensemble «eNsemble» (Saint-Petersburg), dissonArt ensemble (Greese), ensemble «Batida» (Switzerland), «Schallfeld» ensemble (Austria), ensemble «Szene Instrumental» (Austria) amd others.

Commissions from the many ammount of projects and festivals as «tax free» (2010, Saint-Petersburg), «Live track» (2010, Moscow), «Difficulties of Translation» (2011, Moscow), «Another space» (2013, Moscow), «Moscow Autumn» (2014, Moscow), «Impuls» (2014, Austira), «Re:Music» (2015, Saint-Petersburg), «Kasachische Perlen» (Kazakhstan-Austria) and others.
