Sua SEO was born in 1977 in South Korea. Her passion for music started at a very young age by playing the piano. She has studied orchestration and composition with Allain Gaussin before enrolling at the Paris Conservatory, CNSMDP (Conservatoire Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris) where she obtained the prize of analysis in the class of Alain Louvier and the prize of orchestration in the class of Denis Cohen. She has studied composition in Haute École de Musique de Genève with Michael Jarrell, Luis Naon and Eric Daubresse (« Master of Music Composition and Theory, major in Computer Music and Live Electronics » in 2013). She took the degree course 1 « Practical Training in Computer Music » at IRCAM (Institut de Recherche et Coordination Acoustique / Musique), in 2012~2013. The composition « Camélia Clou(t)é » for accordion and live electronic music was premiered as the end point of this degree course.
One of her pieces « Le Récit de Marie Dubois (for narrator and ensemble) » was played in 2006 and 2007 by Joell Fausee and Stravinsky Ensemble in Metz. In 2007, her electroacoustic piece « La fête lumineuse (for actress/singer) » was played in the festival of ISCM (International Society for Contemporary Music) in Paris. In addition, « Tcheondojae (buddhist ritual for the dead) », electroacoustic piece was premiered in the Festival Archipel in Geneva in 2011 and was broadcasted in ''France Musique''.
