In-Quarto

In-Quarto is an evocation of the world of printing, and how a book is obtained by successive folding of one sheet of paper — In-Quarto designating a volume made with sheets of paper on which 4 pages of text were printed in each side. In the same idea, the instrumental ensemble produces a single object that is itself a fold, with the notion of reproduction. Otherwise, I worked on the duality between the mechanical aspect of the printing press and the content it can deliver. We can find it in the various sections of the piece. Ultimately, the real issue is that of the porosity between the poetic and the mechanical appearance in the vector of transmission.
