Mechanical Expressiveness

The piece written for the Flute & Alto Flute head joints only. The soloist should be amplified. 2 speakers need to be placed on the stage near the soloist on both sides. The piece is performed - as much as possible - without explicit metrical accents. Time signs marked in the score are approximated.

Double barlines represent something of the phrase structure of the piece. Fixed media files and computer processing in real-time (Max/msp). The notation for the electronic part indicates the distinct beginnings and endings of sound files.
