ohne außen

"ohne außen" (without exterior), (2022), for four saxophones and electric guitar, obsessively explores a limited sound material. This reduced material is also constrained in space. The electric guitar is positioned in the middle of the audience, while the saxophones form a circle around the guitar and part of the audience. Sound explores this limited space and creates different areas inside it with its movements. "ohne außen" thus creates a closed world without an exterior that recurrently explores its interior in an attempt to transcend its limits.
