QUONDAM
Quondam from Latin means in ancient times the past, in the future the future and sometimes the present, therefore it preserves an idea of time which brings together, although with similar meanings, a projection of events in different spatio-temporalities.
Writing was born from this suggestion, from the visionary idea of being able to perceive and preserve in our memory every event in continuity with the now, the before and after.
The composition, conceived in paintings, through an apparently static reiteration, transforms and transfigures fragments of memories into a continuum.
An attempt to give in to listening as if to an omen, gradually slipping towards estrangement in which questions remain open and where everything exists, passes and returns.
ANCIEN
Quondam du latin signifie dans les temps anciens le passé, dans le futur le futur et parfois le présent, il préserve donc une idée du temps qui rassemble, bien qu'avec des significations similaires, une projection d'événements dans des spatio-temporelles différentes.
L'écriture est née de cette suggestion, de l'idée visionnaire de pouvoir percevoir et conserver dans notre mémoire chaque événement en continuité avec le présent, l'avant et l'après.
La composition, conçue en peinture, à travers une réitération apparemment statique, transforme et transfigure des fragments de souvenirs en un continuum.
Une tentative de céder à l'écoute comme à un présage, glissant peu à peu vers un éloignement où les questions restent ouvertes et où tout existe, passe et revient.
