Bluish Fire

This work was written for the American Brass Quintet and it draws on the tradition of orchestral brass playing, while at the same time it explores the capabilities of each instrument involved in the group in innovative ways. It does not seek to exhaust possibilities, but rather to blend them among the inner parts. It was performed by the American Brass Quintet.
