Obsessive compulsive [dis] Order

The core of this work is an inquiry into the elasticity of musical material. 

The narrative of the piece unfolds as recurring gestural statements gradually establish a deformed ritualistic environment. The (seemingly) fractured materials converge into a collective statement(s) which are repeatedly shattered and disguised. The exploration of materials of both noise and distinct pitch, alongside the tangible gestures that facilitate them, (hopefully) induce a compositional trajectory which is a sort of a pendulum swinging between moments of clear coherency and moments of cryptic progression.
