Aria

Aria for Violoncello and piano is an attempt for creating a single line embracing the totality of the piece. The seemingly contrasting piano part is a translation of the arc's tension in an agitated texture.

Aria is build upon a harmonic progression, which was elaborated by designing the relation between fundamental manifestation and dissonance degree from form to every single chord following analog principles. The rigid and partly algorithmical composition process was affected by descending fall in the country.
