Jacques Derrida discovers, thematizes and conceptualizes life as fingerprints, as dust, as ghosts. In this sense he thinks the spectral phenomena, the erasing that happens before that happens, the disappearance at the heart of the emergence of phenomena: the ashes as "essence" without essence of matter. This materiality requires then that concept of reality has to be thought again, and that history and temporality has to be preceded by the spectral phenomena.
