This piece is inspired in Federico García Lorca's "Theory and Play of the Duende" in which he presents the idea that true art has an unexplained mystery impossible to define. In the south of Spain they call it "duende." This piece was composed as an improvisation on the piano where the composer let "duende" appear. It is a piece of primitive, primal force juxtaposed with moments that point toward the sacred.
