C:\ENGLISH> In the year 1980, long before touchscreens and
smartphones, video games would only exist in computers that
had big cube-shaped monochrome screens, a large computer
case with built-in components, cooling fan and a drive for
floppy disks. These computers were constantly making
rumbling and beeping sounds from the moment they were
switched on, to their shut down. It was necessary for users to
know the basics of computer communication and type-in correct
commands into a fairly large keyboard. It was also necessary to
have patience. To wait. And fix. Quite often.
