8th litany for Heliogabalus

This piece is a part in a cycle of works in which i am exploring the idea of the surrealist concept „ecriture automatique“, which has first been proclaimed by the french author Andre Breton. The idea is not to plan a piece, develop material and create sketches, but to try to „switch off“ the conscious thinking process, letting the subconscious express itself free from personal censorship. For this piece, this means that i improvised a vocal piece of music, recorded it and then transcribed it for drumset. the electronic part is thought as an augmentation of the drumset, giving the piece a higher density and more complex auditive structures.
