...Chimères... Improvisation sur René Char

...Chimères, nous sommes montés... Improvisation sur René Char is an “improvised” musical flow inspired by René Char’s words. The incredible richness and symbolic strength of the Char's poem generates the musical material. Starting from the very respiration, the vocal part "zooms" on Char's syllables and words. The phonetic richness of the first word itself - chimères -  slowly introduces an instrument/voice dialogue exploring every detail of Char’s words.

The clarinet/voice combination allows exploring various timbre/phonetic colours, developing multiphonics, phonetics, spoken voice and filtrated air-sounds as a primary material.
