Motivated by an interest in Korean culture, soprano Raejin Lee and composer Jean Ahn collected traditional Korean folk songs. They collaborated with traditional folk singers, then reinterpreted the songs for voice and piano.
On the page preceding each song, the Korean texts, both literal and poetic translations, and International Phonetic Alphabet are provided.
