The piece was written as an attemt to force stochastic functions to satisfy dramaturgical and poetic intents. The form is based on the idea of creating tension by separating text structure and segmentation by varying facture on the one hand from the outlines of the harmonic process on the other hand. The music is supposed to strengthen the ambiguity of the text.
