Dr. Tiange Zhou, the director of the Art&Technology Lab at Beijing Normal University School of Future Design. She is a composer, interdisciplinary artist and researcher. She earned her Bachelor's degree from the Manhattan School of Music, followed by a Master's degree from Yale University and a Ph.D. degree from UCSD. Her works have garnered recognition, including the American Filmatic Arts Awards for Best Sound Design in Short Films, the First Prize at the Kirkos Kammer International Chamber Music Composition Competition and a Gold Winner of Hermes Creative Awards. She has served as a course lecturer and collaborative artist at Yale College, the University of California, San Diego, and the Harvard Chinese Art Media Lab (CAM Lab) before relocating in China. Her research has been published at IEEE-ICME, IRCAM FORUM, SIGGRAPH Asia, as well as CRC Press of Taylor&Francis Group.
