Winner of the Premio Evangelisti 2018 – Nuova Consonanza, Roma
Writing “Assetata ancora” has been a way of listening and feeling intimate with the poetry of Jolanda Insana (1937-2016), with a language that is at the same time incandescent and exact, and where the concrete existence of bodies is constantly in the foreground.
My piece is a possible reading of two poems from “Medicina carnale” (1985-91) and “La Stortura (1995-2000), and it is the result of a work on my listening these words, looking for their sound with in mind the voices of Jolanda Insana and Livia Rado, and creating a musical context that would have hosted them.
Assetata ancora is dedicated to L’Arsenale for their first ten years.
