Bernadette O Horo is a poet who lives in Bradford, UK. In her texts she deals with the social problems of our times, like discrimination, immigration and racism. Her tongue is sharp, her sentences are short and full of complaint and sometimes anger. It is exactly this aspect of her poetry that makes me hear sounds each time I read it; sounds that form the material from which the form of the piece emerges.
