Harbor Town Love at Millennium's End

This piece was composed for the accanto trio, commissioned by Donaueschinger Musiktage, Armin Koehler, and appears at the col legno CD "Donaueschinger Musiktage" 1994.
The main topic could be called "streetmusic". I am contemplating people living in the street, "auf Platte", as we say in Hamburg, like Johnny from Grindel, who collected bottles to earn some money in the "Grindelviertel" in Hamburg, or people making music outside the big music halls, as Harry Partch, as well as the South African Zulu musician Dumisani Mabaso, later my drum teacher.
