Matías Ramisch was born in 1983 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He studied classical piano earning his title as a professor in 2003 at the Conservatory Beethoven, under the supervision of Pia Sebastiani. Then he trained in piano jazz and improvisation with Adrian Iaies. Harmony, Contapunto and composition with Daniel Montes. He has attended seminars for improvisation and composition with various musicians from different streams: Marcelo Toledo, Frank Karlberg, Leo Genovese, Guillermo Romero, Marcelo Arce and others. In 2014 he won the national grant from the National Endowment for the Arts for the composition of the opera "De cronopios y de Famas". Currently it serves as composition and piano teacher in the city of Buenos Aires.
