Federico Bonacossa est un compositeur et guitariste basé à Miami. Ses créations musicales vont de la composition de musique électronique assistée par ordinateur (MAO) à des musiques purement acoustiques et intuitives. En tant qu'interprète sur scène, il s'applique à faire découvrir au public des nouveaux sons pour la guitare, en particulier avec l'utilisation de matériel électronique. Il est actuellement professeur de théorie de la musique et de musicologie à Florida International University.
