Tierra, polvo, tumba

Is a piece written in memory of the Spanish civil war that have not been buried or whose remains had not yet been found.
Piece written and dedicated to Aleph Guitar Quartet, the gesture applied to the instrument is the base of the piece. « Rasgueados » that become muffled, timber fluctuations or gestures that become silence…, these elements are present throughout the piece. The first part, rhythmical and resounding is followed by a progressively more lyric part, with resonant spaces…The form is a kind of promenade for different scapes till bringing us to a more articulated third part, with cuts and caesuras.
« Tierra », is the gesture to the ground, and also the percussion deep sounds, the ground evokes the dust and the dust evokes the graves of those who lie just beside the dictator who ordered the executions.
