In these COVID times, we have been surrounded by screen. Television screens, iPhone screens and most prevalently, Laptop screens. While they hold a sort of autonomous, repetitively confined space, they have also allowed us to connect on grander scales than ever previously imagined. The string quartet I offer to the conversation – screens; between you and me – is a testament to the unpredictable and conversely contradictory state that

I experienced with the screens that surrounded me. Cycling through fragile and quivering loops of sonic material, a perpetual energy is found in the work, and highlights a sense of time travelling forward in a digital world. Listener is brought into a seismic contest between decoupled actions, and almost in a glitching garble of sounds, the techniques begin to merge to form an intricate tapestry of ever evolving sounds.
