Notes sur cette pièce

This piece is comprised of three sections that are played simultaneously: a bass flute part, a flute part, and an 'air flute' part. All three parts are the same piece with minor alterations between them. it is not a flute trio, but rather three perspectives of the same idea. The scores are presented as follows: manuscript sketch for the air flute version. This is the skeleton of the piece and it provides a view of my working process. The other two are finished scores. The piece was commissioned by Belgian flutist, Dr. Ine Vanoeveren and it is for one performer. Please refer to the video link for a performance example.
