Felipe de Almeida Ribeiro (1980) is an accomplished Brazilian composer known for his remarkable work in instrumental and electroacoustic music. Notably, he has received prestigious recognition for his musical contributions, including the sought-after Funarte and Ibermúsicas prizes, as well as the Humboldt Fellowship. Throughout his academic journey, Ribeiro had the privilege of studying under esteemed mentors, namely Dániel Péter Biró, Gordon Mumma, Ming Tsao, and Cort Lippe. His profound musical creations have resonated with audiences across the world, with performances in prominent concert halls spanning multiple countries, such as the U.S., Germany, Hungary, Austria, England, Canada, Brazil, Argentina, Spain, Sweden, and the Netherlands. Currently serving as a distinguished faculty member at the esteemed Universidade Estadual do Paraná (Brazil), Ribeiro is deeply committed to fostering the growth of new talent within the realm of music.
