Liliia Iskhakova is a composer, performer and choir conductor. She experiments with timbre sound of instruments, musical styles and genres, works with electro acoustic music. Her works were performed in the Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, the USA and Russia at such festivals as GAUDEAMUS, Ticino Musica, Coudenberg Soundbox Fest, Europe-Asia etc.

Education: 
•Kazan state Conservatory named after N.G. Zhiganov; Composition Department (2018-2023)
•Kazan Music College named after Auhadeev I.V. Choir, conducting, composicion, vocal arts, theory and piano (2014-2018)

Experience:
•The works were performed by such ensembles: Ictus, Quatuor Diotima, Peridot duo, Two envelopes, Ensemble Hopper, Orchestra of the Sofia Gubaidulina Center for Contemporary Music (Kazan), Moscow Contemporary Music Ensemble, Reheard ensemble (Moscow), Sofiaensemble, Studio of New Music, Orchestra of the G.Kamal State Theatre, TATARIKA Orchestra, Symphony Orchestra of the Kazan State Conservatory named after N.G. Zhiganov etc. Solo performers: Natalia Pshenichnikova (soprano, Germany), Jessica Beebe (soprano, USA), Vitaly Vatuli (saxophone, Moscow), etc.
•The works were performed in the Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, the USA, Russia at festivals such as Gaudeamus, Coudenberg Soundbox Fest, Ticino Musica, Sounding House of Sofia, Europe-Asia etc.

Residences:
•Resident of Ensemble Hopper (Belgium) in the 2022/2023 season.
•Residence "Dance. Music and Sound Practices" Context. Diana Vishneva (2023, Moscow)
•Resident of the Two envelopes Ensemble (Belgium) in the 2021/2022 season. The world premiere of the composition written for this ensemble took place at the prestigious GAUDEAMUS Contemporary Music Festival in the Netherlands in September 2022.
•Resident of the ClassicElectric project (2022-2021, St. Petersburg). The world premiere of the composition "The Kazan Sea" for choir, violin, electronics and media took place on the New Stage of the Alexandrinsky Theater in 2021.

Achievements:
• I and II place winner of the Festival-competition of compositional art "String Theory" (2023)

• II place winner of the IV International Competition of Composers “Fructus Temporum” (2023)
• Winner of the Call for scores Orchestra of the Center for Contemporary Music music by S. Gubaidulina (2023)
• Winner of the Follow My Score (2021, USA)
• GRAND PRIX of the VIII International Competition of Young Composers Dedicated to Tchaikovsky (2021)
• III place winner of the I International Competition of Young Composers named after Sofia Gubaidulina (2021)
• III place winner of the VI open competition of composers "Prokofiev's Time" (2021)
• I and II place winner of the Z.Ismagilov International Competition of Composers (2021)
• I place winner of the International competition "Allegro.Vivo.Presto"
