Lina Bonafini (*1995) studied composition with Prof. Jörg Birkenkötter, Daniel Smutny and Prof. Caspar Johannes Walter as well as electroacoustic composition with Prof. Kilian Schwoon and Cedric Spindler at the Hochschule für Künste Bremen (Germany) and Hochschule für Musik FHNW (Basel, Switzerland). Her compositions have been performed in various concerts and at festivals in Germany, Switzerland, Italy and Lithuania by Ensemble New Babylon, Duo Windspiel, Ensemble Mikrokosmos, Ensemble Delirium, among others, and released on CDs (Contemporanea 2020: MIKROKOSMOS, drop the beat by DEGEM - Deutscher Gesellschaft für Elektroakustische Musik e.V. and others). Bonafini is a prizewinner of the 13th International Composition Competition Città di Udine 2020 (Italy) and a scholarship holder of the 8th Composition Residency of the German National Academic Foundation in cooperation with the Beethoven-Haus Bonn.
