Rosella Spinosa

She graduated very young in piano, harpsichord, composition and, in the same years, she graduated with honors and academic applause in law and, also, always with full marks, in Musicology - Historical, Critical and Analytical Disciplines of Music. Master cum laude at the Piano Academy of Imola, and specialization in composition at the Music School of Fiesole, with a Diploma of Merit and Emma Contestable Scholarship at the Accademia Chigiana in Siena complete his training phase. He plays in some of the most important Italian and foreign halls such as Sala Santa Cecilia in the Parco della Musica in Rome, Carnegie Hall in New York, Italian Bunka Kaikan in Tokyo etc., collaborating with prestigious composers (among which, Paolo Castaldi, Luis De Pablo, Ivan Fedele, Giacomo Manzoni, Bernhard Lang, Misato Mochizuchi, Luis Bacalov, etc.) and performing many new works dedicated to herself. He combines his solo activity with chamber music, in particular in Piano Duo and in the NEW MADE Ensemble (specialized in contemporary repertoire) as well as soloist and soloist with orchestra. He has been playing in duo since 2009 with the Oscar winner, Luis Bacalov. He writes chamber works, for orchestra, for opera and theater, commissioned and performed by Italian and foreign orchestras (Kyev Camerata, Orchestra I Pomeriggi Musicali, Orchestra of the Vittorio Emanuele Theater of Messina, Seoul Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra of Lugano ...) . He composes music for silent cinema (to date over 80 film titles), for film libraries, theaters and orchestras. His works are published by the Suvini Zerboni publishing house. He records for Stradivarius, Amadeus, Bookstore Teatro alla Scala; his latest record for Tactus, dedicated to the piano works of Giacinto Scelsi, has recently received 5 Stars from the Amadeus magazine.
